And if you did discover to your young gourmands these Japanese bites? This recipe proposed by Atelier Guy Martin is specially designed for them.
For 4 people :
- 2 leaves of nori (algae)
- 100 g round rice
- 1 C. rice vinegar
- 100 g of salmon back
- ½ lawyer
Rinse the rice in cold water then pour it into a saucepan with 2 dl of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover with foil for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and leave 5 minutes covered.
Cut the salmon into strips of about 8 mm on each side. Peel the avocado, remove the kernel and cut the flesh into strips, like salmon. Mix the vinegar with the rice. Let cool to room temperature. With moistened fingers, spread the rice at the edge of the nori leaf about 5 cm wide
Put a row of salmon and avocado in the length and roll the sheets of nori to form rolls. Cut each roll into pieces to obtain the makis.
